We have revised the SWK website. Based on the Content Management System eZ Platform from Ibexa, we have implemented it with expanded, more user-friendly functionalities and in the new corporate design. For the project, we took on the project management, the technical and formal conception, the development of the website, the development of the loan calculator and, in cooperation the agency mintley GmbH, also the new branding.

Against this background, we feel obliged to regularly carry out an Internet relaunch", emphasized Ulf Meyer, spokesman for the management of Süd-West-Kreditbank Finanzierung GmbH, and adds: "Our digital DNA enables us to achieve a lean implementation."

 

The most customer-friendly application process on the Internet

"In the completed website project, we set out to implement the most customer-friendly online credit processes", says Ulf Meyer, making it clear what his claim is. In addition, the existing brand identity was set to be revised. The overriding goal of these measures was to strengthen the company’s position as a customer-centered and digitally thinking pioneer in the industry.

 

For the development of the website based on the eZ Platform as well as for the implementation of the corresponding front end, the SWK Bank decided in favor of ETECTURE GmbH. "The ETECTURE Team won us over with their impressive idea and showcase of competence in their presentation. We quickly gained confidence that we had found the right partner", says Philipp Netz, project manager at SWK Bank.

 

"At SWK Bank, the customer should not only find improved functionalities for fixed-term deposits and the application for loans, but should also be the focus of the entire website", says Ulrike Breitbarth, project manager at ETECTURE, describing the approach to the revision of the website. The team achieved this with simple, intuitive navigation and clear language. The new light and airy design with specially developed illustrations by the Düsseldorf agency mintley GmbH also makes a decisive contribution to this. "Since we always ask for specific requests at an early stage, we personalize the user experience and make it easier for customers to access the wide range of products already on the home page", explains Ulrike Breitbarth. SWK project manager Philipp Netz adds: "The new design reflects our uncomplicated and direct way of communicating with customers."

Everything digital – minimize paperwork

SWK Bank also took the redesign of the website as an opportunity to optimize and digitize further processes. The direct existing customer login for loan applications ensures even more user-friendliness: stored data is transferred and the application can be completed in less time. "In addition, our customers can upload pay slips and bank statements as photos or scans and use electronic bank statements without any paperwork", says SWK project manager Philipp Netz. "Loan applications can be completely digitally. Even new fixed-term deposit customers no longer have to print out and sign contracts. Identification via VideoIdent or PostIdent is sufficient."

 

With the new website, SWK Bank has taken another step within the process of digitization. "A completely digital transaction is convenient, quick and secure for almost all of our products", says Matthias Brandes, who as Chief Digital Officer is responsible for the ongoing digitization of SWK Bank.
